\u00a0Mary Chaplin<\/span><\/h3>\n

Had been a figurative artist for many years, specializing mainly in pastels when she underwent a synchronistical experience that changed the way she expressed her artistic feelings.<\/p>\n

Since this moment in 2005, she has devoted her research to the study of light in its abstraction, its colours, defragmentation of shapes, blur effects. Painting takes her on a path of meditation, introspection. The meaning of the finished painting is not in the object you see but in the feelings that surround it. What it says is what \u00ab I cannot say with words, light is my language \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Each painting is a step in a spiritual journey that she creates in colour and light as a celebration of the ineffable<\/p>\n

Since her beginnings, Mary Chaplin\u2019s work has been published in many articles
\nin the press and in specialized art magazines. It also has been broadcasted on
\ntelevision and is regularly exhibited in festivals dedicated to sacred art as well
\nas in art galleries throughout different countries, including France, Belgium
\nand England.<\/p>\n
